Learning to speak properly ?

There is a strong need in our lives right now, to avoid wrong expressions in our speech and to learn to declare all the right things over ourselves, our families, friends and others. ( Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit ) Proverbs 18:21

Have't we heard these remarks before ? Do they sound familiar to you ?

Its driving me crazy !
I can't take it anymore !
It makes me mad when I think of...
I fall sick around this time, every month ..
I am sick & tired ...
I think I am a born loser
Yes, a palmist did once say that my husband would one day leave me ..
Stupid fellow !
It's like that in my family. We fight like cats & dogs
I can never seem to make ends meet
Don't waste your time with him .He is just a hopeless fellow
You lazy bum ..
Idiot ..
I am the sort of person, once I quarrel, I cut all ties ...
..My diabetes, ...my pressure ...my arthritis
He's a good-for-nothing ....

Keep guard Lord over our hearts, our thoughts & our speech, in Jesus Name, Amen

In times of financial need...

Appropriate the Word of God to counter the area of need :

'God is able to make all grace abound towards us, that we, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work ' (see 2 Corinthians 9:8)

Derek Prince .. when assailed by sickness / infirmity

Jesus Himself bore my sins in His own body on the tree, that I, having died to sins, might live for righteousness - by whose wounds I was healed. 1 Peter 2 : 24
Declare in your prayer:
My body is the temple for the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the blood of Jesus. My members ...... (name the part of your body which needs healing)are instruments of righteousness, presented to God for His service and for His glory. The devil has therefore no power over me, no unsettled claims against me. All has been settled by the blood of Jesus.
I overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. My body is for the Lord, and the Lord is for my body.
(The above declarations are based on 1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 13:12, Romans 6:13, 8:33-34, Revelation 12:11, 1 Corinthians 6:13 )
Once we have repented of our sins and committed ourselves to Christ, God no longer looks at us as we are in our natural state. Instead, He looks at us from the perspective of the exchange that took place on the cross. Spiritually, He sees us as made righteous, physically, and sees us as made whole.

... I call it ' The Great Exchange '

Jesus was punished that we might be forgiven,
Jesus was wounded that we might be healed,
Jesus was made sin with our sinfulness that we might become righteous with His righteousness,
Jesus died our death that we might share His life,
Jesus became poor with our poverty that we might become rich with His riches,
Jesus bore our shame that we might share his glory,
Jesus endured our rejection that we might have His acceptance as children of God,
Jesus became a curse that we might receive a blessing
