The word FAITH is described in the Bible as ... the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Also, without faith, it is written, it is impossible to please God.
I associate this word 'Faith' with the very person of Jesus... the Faithful Witness ! Substituting the name of Jesus whenever I find the word 'faith ' helps me to better understand this all important concept of having absolute, child like trust in what He says He would do in His Word. I can't on my own accomplish anything, but with God .. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Prophesy, speaking in tongues, interpreting tongues, performing miracles, preaching as the Spirit leads etc. are all examples of 'Faith' in action.
Let us continue to press on towards the upward call !
